The development versions *do* announce their schema through LDAP
and have being doing so for a long time, so the next major version
of OpenLDAP will have it. What it won't have is schema updates
through LDAP.

Of course it would be nice to have, like so many things. But the
things that get implemented are the things that someone implements.
So if someone does a reasonable job of it, it will be there.

Contributions welcome (but please, redirect all further discussion
on this topic to openldap-devel).
