RE: OpenLDAP MinGW Build: select() required
I entirely agree with the point being made. Howard has already told me
exactly why he wanted our discussion to be made public on the list. If in
fact the problem gets solved, it is very helpful for the solution to be
archived on the mailing list so others can benefit from it.

How could you browse for "interesting" hints in the archives
if everybody who first publicly cries for help, then replies
privately when things finally start getting "interesting"?
