Hi,
Forgive my question - I am a newcomer to
OpenLDAP....
I am trying to understand the format of
entryCSN.
Here's a sample value retrieved from an ldapsearch
-
entryCSN: 2003101016:50:18Z#0x0001#0#0000
In the above,
2003101016:50:18Z - seems to be the
timestamp
0x0001 - seems to be the actual
change sequence number (which changes for every modification)
What do the remaining 2 sections
(#0#0000) stand for : For all entries added so far - I see it is
#0#0000
Also, If I were to use the entryCSN to determine
the changes made to entries, how can I determine deletions - is there a
notion of tombstone in OpenLDAP ?
Thanks
Saheli
