RE: OpenLDAP install issue with SASL
Hello All:
I am installing OpenLDAP utilizing:
Solaris 2.8 sparc
openldap-2.1.13 ( I have also utilized openldap-2.1.12 with the same
results )
db-4.1.24
openssl-0.9.7a
cyrus-sasl-2.1.2
Default Library Path (ELF):
/usr/lib:/usr/local/lib:/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.1/lib:/usr/lib/sasl2
configure line
CPPFLAGS="-I/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.1/include
-I/usr/local/ssl/include"
LDFLAGS="-L/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.1/lib -L/usr/local/lib
-L/usr/local/lib/sasl2" CC=gcc ./configure
output error
checking Cyrus SASL library version... no
configure: error: Cyrus SASL library located but incompatible
According to the documentation I have read the versions of software I am
utilizing should work. Any light that can be shed on this issue would be
appreciated. :-)
Thanks,
Lauri-
