dc's in the suffix and adding the node to the tree
Hello,
I have recently installed openldap 2.0.21 and i think i may have found a
small problem.
My suffix for the ldap server is
suffix "o=companyname,dc=co,dc=uk"
when adding the node to the ldap tree as follows:
dn: o=comapnyname, dc=co,dc=uk
objectclass: dcObject
objectclass: organization
o: companyname
dc: co
dc: uk
i get a strange error message in return which is:
ldap_add: Constraint violation
additional info: dc: multiple value provided
does this mean that the dc=co,dc=uk is not supported by openldap.
if so, why?
if i am wrong, which i think could be very likely how do i add the root node
to the ldap tree with dc=co,dc=uk
Thanks in advance
Kamesh
