To follow-up to my earlier post about multi-master replication, here's
the link to the top-level tree of replication implementation details
for Microsoft's Active Directory:

The earlier links didn't include the parts about how schema updates
and other things are single-master, nor the page describing the
state-based approach and conflict collapsing.
