Forgive me my ignorance regarding programming and debugging C programs.

I even deleted it manually (rm -r testrun/*) before running the test.

So I need advice how to produce better debug logs.

BTW: OPENLDAP_REL_ENG_2_3 works just fine on the very same system and
with the very same build script.
