My openldap version is 2.4.40.
Kinldy suggest me the configuration to remove the log fikes automatically
and how does the check point worka in slapd.conf
In my syatem there will be more amount of search and updates


Read the BDB documentation, it's documented there.

If you are on 2.4.40, you should switch to using LMDB instead of BDB anyway.
