I just set the checkpoint directive in my slapd configuration and set the logs to auto delete in DB_CONFIG myself. On Jul 8, 2012, at 12:19 PM, Miguel Montero RodrÃguez < migmonte@gmail.com> wrote: Ok thank you!
But, anyone could tell me if it is normal to use a cron job to delete the accesslog with "db_archive -d"?
Thank you in advance.

Hi everyone,
I've found how to know the version of the Berkeley database that "apt-get
install slapd" installs in Ubuntu Server 10.04 LTS (not 10.10, that's
desktop, sorry).
I'm sure you know, but I'm going to write it here if someone needs that
information.
Cool idea, but there are easier ways.
$ apt-cache show slapd | grep libdb
Depends: libc6 (>= 2.12), libdb5.1, [...]
$ ldd /usr/sbin/slapd | grep libdb
libdb-5.1.so => [...]
hth, cheers,
