how many 'threads' have you configured in slapd.conf
?
how many 'LDAP client' do you use when you run your
tests?
Please send us a capture of 'top', having hit '1' and 'H'
so that we see the per logical CPU details and per thread
details

Arun, of
course openLDAP does support multi-core CPUs or multiple mono-core
CPUs. It does
not care about underlying physical components. openLDAP
