Re: Strange ldap behavior
John Nietzsche wrote:
Dear list members,
i am trying to delete a tree in my ldapserver (i am using ldbm as
database backend). Actually i can perform the delete operation, but i
end up with the following:
$ ldapdelete -x -D 'cn=admin,dc=ufv,dc=br' -W -r dc=ufv,dc=br^M^M
This bug in the -r option of ldapdelete has been fixed about one year
ago in OpenLDAP 2.4.8. You should upgrade, or manually perform the
subtree delete, or use back-bdb/back-hdb.
