Tnx. I had the entry in the global section and have now moved it into
the database section.

I had everything in one line in my slapd.conf and added the \
(backslash) to make the mail more readable. Probably a mistake...

My line now look:

limits dn.exact="cn=admin,dc=test,dc=org"
 time.soft=unlimited time.hard=unlimited
 size.soft=unlimited size.hard=unlimited


But still not working.
