Virtual Directory Integration with OpenLDAP

Greetings from Safehaus.org. Penrose team recently completed our  
integration with OpenLDAP. Penrose can be run under OpenLDAP using  
Java Backend. Java Backend (back-java) is a subproject of Penrose  
which provides an extension for OpenLDAP to run a Java program as its  
backend. Since OpenLDAP server is written in C, Java Backend is also  
written in C and uses JNI to invoke Java. Java Backend can be used by  
any Java program, not just Penrose.
