Hi Ski,

There are some patches to OpenLDAP 2.3.24 related to syncrepl that may 
resolve your problem.  I currently patch 2.3.24 with some 12 pieces pulled 
from HEAD.  I suggested a new 2.3.25 release a few weeks ago, but have 
received zero responses on that.

I'll look at getting my latest patch sets up on my website at:
