Read the Admin guide, read the man pages, and make sure you understand what 
the various options mean. ;)  Make sure you have enough RAM to hold the 
size of id2entry.bdb + some space for the entry cache, idl cache, etc. 
Make sure you have a DB_CONFIG file, either created by being in slapd.conf, 
or manually created.
