I've been using libwrap from /usr/sfw/lib with openldap since about
2.2.18 and I've never had any problems I've attributed to it.  This is
on Solaris 9 Sparc.  In fairness most of the ldap traffic is on the
local machine, and there are not many ldap client machines - so that
might also be the reason I've not had trouble.  If someone posts a log
message to look for I'd be interested to grep my logs for comparison.
