Well, the adding time is not the problem (for me). I think that my worst problem is the log size:
# du -h /home/tmpldap 5,3G Is there a way to avoid the generation of this big log (without the DB_TXN_NOT_DURABLE flag)?
Did you properly configure DB_CONFIG? Did you set a checkpoint directive in slapd.conf?
If I create a ldif with all attributes and use slapadd, the operation is very fast.
This is the recommended way to bulk-load an OpenLDAP server...
PS: Now IÂm running openldap-2.3.12 and BDB 4.2.52-18
