AW: slapd locks while starting
Reason Found!
It was due to iptables restriction, dropping 127.0.0.1 packets...
Which means that a tcp connection to unknown local port needs to wait
for the connection timeout (whatever port it tryes to connect to!)

Betreff: slapd locks while starting
Hi!
Yesterday i recognized, that restarting my slapd takes minutes (which
was very fast before)
I don?t remember changing anything related, but am not sure? (must have
been something!)
If I start
/usr/sbin/slapd -d -1 -h ldap:/// ldaps:/// -g slapd -u slapd
it outputs
daemon_init: ldap:///
daemon_init: listen on ldap:///
daemon_init: 1 listeners to open...
ldap_url_parse_ext(ldap:///)
daemon: initialized ldap:///
daemon_init: 2 listeners opened
ldap_pvt_gethostbyname_a: host=tiger, r=0
And then locks (Load 0.0) for 2 Minutes! (after that continues with
no error and lots of outputs and everything works)
Do you have any idea for this lock?
Thanks!
