text="control unavailable in context" with sql back end and Outlook 2003
Hi,
openldap 2.2.26
mysql backend
Outlook 2003
I've got openldap (sql backend) working really well with all email
clients except Outlook 2003. I think the relevant errors in the log are
as follows:
=> get_ctrls: oid="1.2.840.113556.1.4.319" (critical)
<= get_ctrls: n=1 rc=0 err=""
send_ldap_result: err=12 matched="" text="control unavailable in
context"
send_ldap_response: msgid=31 tag=101 err=12
conn=0 op=2 SEARCH RESULT tag=101 err=12 nentries=0 text=control
unavailable in context
I've searched the archives for this and it seems to be caused by the sql
back end not supporting paged results. I saw one posting (I did not
bookmark it and I can't seem to find it again) that suggested altering
the code to remove this control. Is this a good idea? How would this be
done?
Is there any other way that I can alter either Outlook 2003 or openldap
to fix this problem?
Thanks,
Paul Bond
