We're moving one of our networks to use OpenLDAP and Linux away from
Windows, on Windows I believe it did strange things once you went beyond
2000 objects.
There shouldn't be any limit, no. I assume you mean something like:
person=XX,ou=blah,dc=your,dc=domain
@ Stanford, we have some 330,000 people under our:
cn=people,dc=stanford,dc=edu
subtree.
