No, but then finding the single line among the 5264 lines of 
documentation in the man pages that pointed that the most obvious 
behaviour - that indexes are handled automatically - was not how the 
software worked would have been like finding a needle in a haystack.

It honestly didn't cross my mind for a second that the indexes not 
updating were anything other than a bug.

I'm glad to see this is fixed - this a a major usability flaw in the 
v2.2 series. :(
