no, very unlikely on the server side. /etc/ldap.secret is typically required
by clients if they need to alter something in the ldap server as the ldap
administrator.
On the server side the debian "rootdn" has its password assigned in the DIT
itself using the userPassword attribute like any other user. To change it you
have to use ldappasswd or similar.
