As a site note, OpenLDAP 2.0.22 is absolutely ancient and full of bugs. On
top of that, the ldbm database is not the most stable thing in the world.
I would advise, as you have time, investigating upgrading to OpenLDAP 2.2
and switching your DB to something more stable, like bdb or hdb.
