Re: LDAPADD command hangs
The openldap version came with the Red Hat Linux installation...that is
v2.16 according to my administrator.
However, how can i check this is correct ? what command do i issue ?
In slapd.conf: database = ldbm
In the slapd.conf...the first line shows : "# $OpenLDAP:
pkg/ldap/servers/slapd/slapd.conf,v 1.8.8.7 2001/09/27 20:00:31 kurt Exp $"

Okay, then here's some questions:
What version of OpenLDAP are you running?
What backend are you using in slapd.conf?
After knowing that information, more questions will likely be generated...
