Hi all,
I'm having problem adding the gn attribute in
OpenLDAP. I have an LIDF file
dn: cn=Surname\, FirstName MI.,dc=mydomain,dc=com
mail: emailaddress
objectClass: inetOrgPerson
sn: Surname
cn: Surname, FirstName MI.
gn: FirstName
With the format above, I receive adding new entry
"cn=Surname\, FirstName MI.,dc=mydomain,dc=com
ldap_add: Internal (implementation specific) error
(80) additional info: entry store failed
But if I rearrange my LDIF file into
dn: cn=FirstName MI. Surname,dc=mydomain,dc=com
mail: emailaddress
objectClass: inetOrgPerson
sn: Surname
cn: FirstName MI. Surname
gn: FirstName
It successfully adds the entry. Is there a workaround
to this or can we call it a bug?
Thanks for any help
