Re: LDAP and SSL
OK, if I am reading this correctly, this is the way my ldap database
was created:
dn: dc=insecurity,dc=org
objectClass: top
objectClass: dcObject
objectClass: organization
o: CCSH
dc: insecurity
structuralObjectClass: organization
entryUUID: 400ff7ac-d3e2-1028-9b08-af7cfe0e6afa
creatorsName: cn=anonymous
createTimestamp: 20041126103243Z
description: SSL LDAP Test Server
postalCode: 32244
st: FL
entryCSN: 2004113014:51:38Z#0x0001#0#0000
modifiersName: cn=admin,dc=insecurity,dc=org
modifyTimestamp: 20041130145138Z
dn: cn=admin,dc=insecurity,dc=org
objectClass: simpleSecurityObject
objectClass: organizationalRole
cn: admin
description: LDAP administrator
userPassword:: e ... M=
structuralObjectClass: organizationalRole
entryUUID: 402fc6b8-d3e2-1028-9b09-af7cfe0e6afa
creatorsName: cn=anonymous
modifiersName: cn=anonymous
createTimestamp: 20041126103243Z
modifyTimestamp: 20041126103243Z
entryCSN: 2004112610:32:43Z#0x0002#0#0000
If the DN must equal CN -- then none of the certs I make will work.
yes? no? maybe? (or tell me to drop dead cause you are tired of this tread?)
