slapd uses syslog local 4 facility to log, so just configure it in syslog.confHello! I am a new user to openldap and I have installed it on the Debian system. For the log I am now seeing the file /var/log/syslog/ and I can see the log. But in my friend's system log is available in the other file. So I become confused about that.
Is there any way to see the log in desired file and at desited location ?
Where can I get the detailed information for the log level ?
