IMHO, better to first ensure LDAP servers survive a reboot than worry
about performance on the rare occasion of a reboot. Anyway, we
(Mandrake) only run db_recover in start(), not stop() or restart(), so
you only lose the cache in a reboot (hopefully), or if you wanted a
db_recover (in which case you run stop and start).
