Problems adding to the db

Hi, i log to my openldap server using LDAPBrowser/Editor and when i try to 
add something
the server always gives this error:
<= bdb_dn2id: get failed: DB_NOTFOUND: No matching key/data pair found 
(-30990)

what should i do?? is this a db backend problem?!?
