OpenLDAP instead of Oracle Internet Directory
Hi, im tring to use OpenLDAP instead of OID (Oracle Internet Directory)
what i did is this, i installed an OID and with 'ldapsearch' downloaded all
the
database to a file (oid.ldif). then i created in my OpenLDAP server the
schemas files using the ldif's file comes with oracle (oidbase, oidnet,
oidrdbms).
At this point i tried to add the dump i had from the OID to the OpenLDAP
server,
but it throw me some errors:
C:\openldap>ldapadd.exe -x -D "cn=Manager,dc=carlos,dc=com" -f oid.ldif -W
Enter LDAP Password: adding new entry "cn=OracleSchemaVersion"
ldap_add: Server is unwilling to perform (53)
additional info: no global superior knowledge
i didnt use the -c , becouse i wanted to show you the first error.
the first lines of oid.ldif:
C:\openldap>type oid.ldif
# OracleSchemaVersion
dn: cn=OracleSchemaVersion
cn: OracleSchemaVersion
objectclass: top
objectclass: orclContainer
....
there is a way to do this? it is posible to create automatically all the
tree structure in my LDAP server??? i cant figure it out...
thanks in advance.
Hernan.
