Problem with configure
Hi,
I have a problem in the installation of OpenLDAP (version: 2.2.15) in Linux
(Debian). After the execution of "./configure" I get this error:
-----------------
...
checking for Berkeley DB link (default)... no
checking for Berkeley DB link (-ldb42)... no
checking for Berkeley DB link (-ldb-42)... no
checking for Berkeley DB link (-ldb-4.2)... yes
checking for Berkeley DB version match... Berkeley DB version mismatch
expected: Sleepycat Software: Berkeley DB 3.2.9: (June 16, 2003)
got: Sleepycat Software: Berkeley DB 4.2.52: (December 3, 2003)
no
configure: error: Berkeley DB version mismatch
------------------
I have installed Berkeley DB 4.2.52 as asked in the README file and after this
error I have also installed the version 3.2.9 but I get the same error.
Where is the problem? What can I do?
Thanks
Michele
