Come to think of it, the linker flags are the LDFLAGS right? Mine looks like LDFLAGS="-L/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.2/lib -L/usr/lib/sasl2".
Can someone point me to a best practices for compiling unix source and keeping shared libraries?
