On the time it failed, I had never compiled from that directory. In fact,
I hadn't compiled in that directory in either run.
The failure was a fresh untar, then run configure.
The success was simply re-running configure in that same directory.
However, I have it succeed sometimes in a fresh directory as well.
As I said, I don't see a logical pattern. ;)
