But 10 times slower than a properly tuned bdb, which is also much more
resistant to stability problems on the server, can be backed up on the
fly (either via scripts that copy the db files correctly, or by
slapcat), and is actually maintained ...
Please, check your configuration, and actually do some reading on bdb
tuning before recommending that people use ldbm.
