Re: openldap-2.1.27 - slapd not dying
bdb doesn't work with amd64 so I'm using gdbm.
I guess I should modify my startup script to use -INT, but still, why
does it not die when you are in debug mode hit CTRL-C?

Killing slapd can leave the database in a bad state (ie, using kill
-9). If you are using the BDB backend, you can do a db_recover in your
database directory, and that hopefully will clean it up. I always use
kill -INT to shut slapd down.
