'+' means all operational attributes
'*' means all non-operational attributes

you can say "all attributes" by using '+' '*'
together.

The attributes defined expressly for monitoring
are defined in servers/slapd/back-monitor/init.c,
but regular attributes are used as well, in some
circumstances.
