2.2.x or 2.1.x? db4.1.24 or db 4.2.52 (plus patches)
What is the recommended version for OpenLDAP. and DB4 (for the bdb
backend).. Currently I am running OpenLDAP 2.1.22 with DB 4.1.24 plus
DB4 patches. And am wondering if moving to DB 4.2.52 is a "good thing"?
What benefits/bug fixes are in the new DB over the current one I am
running. And what new features are in the new release of OpenLDAP that
would necessitate an upgrade. Currently I am upgrading to Cyrus IMAPd
2.2.3 (from 2.1.15), Postifx 2.0.16 (from 1.1.12), and well might as
well upgrade it all if it's worth it.. One note is that I am using the
ldapdb auxprop plugin, so the functionality of that plugin is a MUST. I
am currently recompiling my openldap 2.1.22 with an applied patch from
HEAD to fix an issue with Cyrus IMAPd 2.2.3.
