My purpose of sending this mail to the list, was to notify any one that
was on windows using a vulnerable client, that the virus was sent to the
list, and that may be they needed to keep an eye out if it has not
already been detected.
As you have stated, there are hundreds (or thousands) of users on this
list, to think that none of them are using Outlook is rather naive of
you.
Yes it may be worth while taking up with the list admin that it may be a
nice idea to have a virus checker, checking all mail that goes through
the list. However, the purpose of my email was not to raise this as an
issue, but as a heads up to ALL the subscribers.
