RE: OpenLDAP MinGW Build: select() required
Grr, ok, after removing the LIBS environment variable, it's still not
finding winsock. I actually wasn't initially setting LIBS, but since it
didn't find winsock, I figured I might as well try throwing a -l switch in
LIBS...bad idea I guess.
Anyhow, I have these switches set in LDFLAGS, yet it's still not finding
winsock:
-L/usr/local/mingw/lib -L/cygdrive/d/Development/OpenLDAP/builds/3/Vc7Lib
The second switch is a pointer to my Platform SDK lib directory, in which
ws2_32.lib is located. Any other lib directories I should be worried about?
Thanks again,
Jason

That is incorrect syntax for the linker. It should be something like
"LIBS=-lws2_32" but that's actually irrelevant. You don't need to specify
this in LIBS at all since the configure script tries "-lws2_32" by itself.
