Active Directory help
Hello,
I would like to query the AD here at work but I can't seem to get the
ldapsearch line correct.
We are using Win2000 and I'm able to query Active Directory with Kixtart
script and I've been trying to do it in Linux.
I'm running Fedora Core 1 with OpenLDAP-2.1.22-8.
I'm able to lookup people via LDAP using Evolution, but I just can't
figure out the command line for ldapsearch.
Is there a simple command line that someone can show me that will give
me some info as how to go about this?
This is what I have so far...
<snip>
[marguz@LORDLINUX marguz]$ ldapsearch -LLL -x -h global.shsystem.org -u
-b "ou=citrix users,ou=shs,ou=entities" "sn=john doe"
Operations error (1)
Additional information: 000020D6: SvcErr: DSID-03100690, problem 5012
(DIR_ERROR), data 0
