Hi All,
This is my first time on this list. I have tried for about a week now to find some information that would help me in my endeavors, to no avail. I am new to useing LDAP and PHP together. I have tried to search the PHP Forums/Lists and the web to find answer that are most likely rudimentry. So I would appreciate if any of you could take a few moments to help me.
Im running a Win2K Server with Apache/PHP w/LDAP Support. Im trying to create a web application for my intranet here. One of the things Im trying to do is user authentication thru a php login interface that uses LDAP to talk to an Active Directory Server to validate the user. My question is basic, Will this work? Can PHP w/LDAP be used to take a username and password and then query the Active Directory Server to validate the user? If so, can anyone point me to a place to find some helpful info?
Beriah
