Thx for your answer, I was confused by the ABNF notation in rfc2254, I had to
read http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc2234.html to finally understand that
filterlist = 1*filter
meant 'filterlist = 1 or more times filter' instead of 'filterlist = 1
filter'.
