Directory Enabled Application Advice

Hello,

I am writing an application to dynamically generate 2 things, a "Web
Directory" ie. Yellow Pages of web sites and an accompanying firewall
rule-set. I will be using python for the project and would like to know
what kind of object classes to use for such a project. I would likely
need to store just a full domain name and perhaps the date the object
was created. However, I suspect the best way to handle this would be to
just have a multi attributed object of some kind. My idea essentially is
to drive the process of creating the web page (a basic ordered list) by
looping through the objects, and the firewall list by looping through
the list and resolving the names to IP addresses.  I am not certain if a
custom schema is necessary,as I see multiple "domain" type object
classes. Any advice would be appreciated.
