Answering frequently asked questions

I like to remind folks that here is a FAQ and that it is
interactive.   Before posting a question, folks are suppose
to be checking it (as well as other resources: Admin Guide,
manual pages, ITS, web, etc.) for answers.

Before answering a frequently asked question, please check
to see if in the FAQ (and other resources).  If so, reply
with a URL to the answer.  If not, please add the answer
to the FAQ and then respond with the URL to the answer.

(Of course, submissions to other resources (e.g., documentation)
is welcomed as well.)
