Hello,
I am using the slapadd utility to add a large number of
entries (config: OpenLDAP 2.0.25, BkeleyDb3.3.11-02 on SunOS sun4u
sparc SUNW,Ultra-5_10). Loading the same LDIF file gives different results on
different systems.
At times it goes fine, but at times I get the following
error:
slapadd: could not add entry
dn="smsclaidentifier=07240313152303f1fdbebfff0,smscid=6,ou=smscenters,ou=iln_a,
o=sandbox.com" (line=46)
The error (line=46) is just on the last line, related
to this particular entry. After that it is not possible to access the whole
sub-tree (starting from the parent entry) the new one was supposed to be added
to. So, for this entry the whole sub-tree "smscid=6,ou=smscenters,ou=iln_a,
o=sandbox.com" is not accessible any more.
The error in the slapd.log file
is:
conn=0 op=43 SEARCH RESULT tag=101 err=0
text= conn=0 op=44 SRCH base="smscid=6, ou=SmsCenters, ou=ILN_A,
o=sandbox.com" scope=0 filter="(objectClass=*)" ber_flush: 104 bytes to sd
9 ber_flush: 14 bytes to sd 9 conn=0 op=44 SEARCH RESULT tag=101 err=0
text= conn=0 op=45 SRCH base="smscid=6, ou=SmsCenters, ou=ILN_A,
o=sandbox.com" scope=1 filter="(objectClass=*)" ber_flush: 14 bytes to sd
9 conn=0 op=45 SEARCH RESULT tag=101 err=0 text=
Any hint is highly appreciated as right now the DIT
structure seems to be damaged!
