Subject: RE: How to configure Windows
clients to authenticate thru a linux ldap
You
should have a look at Samba
It
can replace a NT4 PDC for the moment (that can authenticate W2k stations), and
future versions (soon available I believe) will be able to replace an Active
Directory domain controller

Hi list,
Does anyone know how the initial user
authentication on a Windows 2000 prof./server can be configured so that it
points to an LDAP server instead of the domain controller for login
authentication? The ldap server is running RH 9.0.
Any hints would be appreciated.
Thanks,
