Re: LDAP Hangs on request

The "too many open files" message may mean you've exceeded the number of
allowed file descriptors for the slapd process.  You may want to look into
increasing that.  I've seen similar circumstances when I have insufficient
limits on Solaris, same probably will happen on Linux.
