{SSHA} vs {CRYPT} with Solaris 8 authentication
Hi,
i'm using OpenLDAP to authenticate Solaris users. If in the directory I
enter the userPassword attribute encrypted with crypt() I'm able to log in,
but if I enter the same password encrypted with SSHA not.
With other openldap tools I'm able to bind to the directory with both
encryption methods.
In a document about pam_ldap (sun version) I red that it's possible to
store passwords with any encryption method. Is it true? Or I can only use
cryp()?
Thanks,
Andrea
