In the last 2 years, I have had like 4 or 5 crahshes with OpenLdap, I

What version of OpenLDAP? Our netscape directory server is less than reliable. We've found our 2.1.x OpenLDAP servers to be faster & more reliable.

You also have the Cluster thing, You can doit with SunOne services, but
how to do a Cluster with OpenLdap? I dont know how yet, may be somebody
can point us out..

We've been successful in implement a cluster of machines using OpenLDAP for their NIS information on Solaris, OS X, and Linux so far, and it all works great.
