Problems importing an ldif file. "cache store failed" error.
Hello list,
I'm currently having trouble importing an .ldif file. Whenever
I try I get this error;
slapadd: could not add entry dn="cn=Name /
Here,ou=External,dc=mydomain,dc=com" (line=140): cache store failed
This line also shows up in my /var/log/messages file:
May 30 12:15:43 shinobu slapadd: ldbm: ==> PANIC: Invalid argument
That's as detailed as the error messages get. Does anyone have any idea
what's happening? I've tried several different things in the file, but
nothing works.
I've noticed that usually when I get errors in ldif files, all the
records before the offending one get imported into the database. In
this case, nothing is getting imported from this file. There are about
4 records before where these errors come up. Does anyone have any
ideas? Thanks in advance.
